VISA APPLICATION:

All visitors with a foreign passport must present a valid visa at the point of entry to be admitted to Equatorial Guinea.

The requirements for obtaining a visa at this Embassy are as follows:

Original passport with a minimum validity of 6 months and at least one empty page.

Duly completed and submitted application form. After completing the electronic application, print a copy of the completed form (you will receive a copy by email upon submiting the application that you can print) and send it to us along with proof of payment and the original passport with a prepaid return envelope.

Invitation letter issued by the Government, a duly registered legal entity, or an Equatorial Guinean individual.

If traveling for tourism, proof of available funds showing at least $1,000 to cover the expenses for each month of your stay in Equatorial Guinea.

If traveling for official or business purposes, a letter issued by the applicant's employer clearly stating the purpose of the trip and their commitment to cover the applicant's expenses (if applicable).

Criminal record clearance not older than 3 months, issued by a law enforcement agency in the jurisdiction where the applicant currently resides, stating that they have not been convicted of any felony and have no criminal record.

Flight itinerary and proof of accommodation.

The standard visa fee is $200. Payments can be made electronically within the application form through our trusted partner or by money order. If you plan to pay by money order, we suggest you obtain it before starting the application, as you will need to attach a copy.

Processing time is 5-7 days from the date we receive the application. If you wish, you can pay an additional $50 for an expedited process, which reduces the processing time to 1-3 days.
Upon receiving and processing your application, we will contact you. ATTENTION: Visas must be used within 60 days of issuance. Please plan ahead.
