The borders of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea are now OPEN to all international flights.
For travelers arriving in the country, whether expatriates or nationals, all COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted and it is NOT REQUIRED to present a negative PCR test result or COVID-19 vaccination card.

Citizens of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea
Citizens of Equatorial Guinea who are located in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Belize, and El Salvador will have to register with the Consular Registry of one of the following Diplomatic Missions depending on their proximity.

Issued by the authorities of the respective countries of current residence, must be certified at this Embassy or the Houston Consulate in order for them to be valid within Equatorial Guinea and to take appropriate effect there.
Application for Passport Extension
For Equatorial Guinean citizens with expired passports, they can request a 2 years passport extension.

Payments can be in form of cash (U.S.D.), money order, or company checks issued only in the United States, and should be made payable to the Embassy of Equatorial Guinea.

Application for VISA
In order to enter Equatorial Guinean territory, holders of passports not issued by the Republic of Equatorial Guinea must present a Visa or a valid same-range document issued by the competent authority.​

Requirements

An original passport is valid at least for the next 6 months.

Travel documents are not accepted.

Two application forms fully filled out and signed. A passport photo is to accompany each form.

An invitation letter into Equatorial Guinea issued either by the Government, a private entity, or a private individual.

If traveling on tourism, a bank statement or equivalent confirming the amount of at least

$2,000.00 to cover expenses for each month he/she will spend in Equatorial Guinea.

If traveling on business, a letter issued by the applicant's employer explaining the purpose of the trip and undertaking the applicant’s expenses.

A police clearance not older than 3 months issued by a police department in the city where the applicant currently resides stating that he/she has not been convicted of any major crimes.

Flight itinerary and proof of accommodation arrangements
